We are seeking a skilled and experienced Orthodontist to join our dental practice. As an Orthodontist, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating dental and facial irregularities, including misaligned teeth and jaws. Your expertise in orthodontic procedures will help our patients achieve beautiful smiles and improved oral health.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive orthodontic examinations to assess patients' dental and facial structure
- Develop customized treatment plans based on individual patient needs
- Install and adjust orthodontic appliances, such as braces, aligners, retainers, and space maintainers
- Monitor patient progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices during orthodontic treatment
- Collaborate with other dental professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical documentation of patient treatments
Experience:
- Proven experience as an Orthodontist in a dental practice or clinic setting
- In-depth knowledge of orthodontic procedures, techniques, and materials
- Proficiency in using dental software systems such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Epic, or similar platforms for medical documentation and record keeping
- Familiarity with CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software for creating orthodontic appliances
- Experience with medical imaging systems for analyzing dental and facial structures
- Understanding of medical coding principles for billing purposes
- Strong infection control practices to ensure the safety of patients and staff
Requirements:
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school
- Completion of an accredited orthodontic residency program
- Valid state license to practice dentistry as an Orthodontist
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality

Pay: $170,000.00 - $230,000.00 per year
