Venatore, a recognized leader in records management and digitization services for the Department of Defense, is seeking a highly skilled Duplication and Digitization Specialist to support Army INSCOM at Fort Belvoir. The successful candidate will possess a Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility at the time of application and will be responsible for operating various duplicating machines and digital scanning equipment to produce essential documents. This role is crucial in ensuring the accurate and efficient reproduction, digitization, and distribution of materials critical to Army INSCOM’s operations.
Key Responsibilities:

Operation of Duplicating Machines:
-
Operate one or more photocopying, photographic, mimeograph, and duplicating office machines to produce copies of letters, reports, directives, manuals, articles, and bulletins.

Binding and Document Assembly:
-
Operate small binding machines to prepare finished documents.
-
Assemble printed materials as per specified instructions.
-
Clerical Duties:
-
Manage requests for printing and photographic services.
-
Prepare assembly sheets and printing requisitions with detailed specifications for printing and binding.

Digital Scanning Operations:
-
Operate digital scanning equipment to convert hard copy documents into digital formats.
-
Prepare hard copy documents for scanning, ensuring they are in the correct order and condition for optimal scanning results.

Assign metadata to digitized documents in accordance with NARA Bulletin 2015-04 guidelines.

Logistics and Inventory Management:
-
Record, deliver, and collect completed work, ensuring accurate distribution.
-
Maintain an inventory of supplies and reproduction equipment, ensuring readiness and availability.

Maintenance and Repairs:
-
Perform minor repairs and preventive maintenance on duplicating and scanning machines.
-
Monitor and respond to key variables as indicated by the machine’s trade name.
Qualifications:
-
Security Clearance: Must possess a current Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.

Experience: 3-5 years proven experience in operating photocopying, photographic, mimeograph, and duplicating machines.

Technical Skills:
-
Proficiency in handling small binding machines and related equipment.
-
Capability to perform minor repairs and preventive maintenance.
-
Experience with operating digital scanning equipment and preparing documents for scanning.

Familiarity with assigning metadata to digitized documents in compliance with NARA Bulletin 2015-04 guidelines.

Clerical Skills:

Strong organizational skills to manage printing requests and requisitions.

High attention to detail in preparing assembly sheets and tracking inventory.

Physical Requirements: Ability to perform tasks requiring prolonged standing, repetitive motion, and handling of heavy materials.
