Job Summary:
Cubic Corporation seeks a dynamic and experienced leader to serve as Senior Manager of Employee Experience & Development to spearhead the implementation of its global Learning & Development (L&D) strategy. This individual will oversee all activities related to L&D, including program design, facilitation, and execution. They will collaborate closely with leadership and HR partners to address learning needs across the organization, fostering a culture of continuous growth and development. The ideal candidate will possess strong business acumen, influencing skills, and a passion for creating equitable learning opportunities and experiences.
The Employee Experience and Development leader will find themselves in a high visibility role, providing a strategic partnership with our leadership and Strategic People Partners (HR) to help build and solve any learning and development needs. The ideal candidate will be passionate about creating equitable development experiences that give employees access to the tools they need to grow and succeed in their roles while creating the future leaders for Cubic. Success in this role will come from business acumen, strong train-the-trainer skills, and the ability to match solutions to problem statements.
This role requires a person able to own the day-to-day execution of tactical responsibilities while bringing forward ideas for future strategies. Strong leadership and control of the work process from beginning to end is necessary. This role will report to our Director of Talent Acquisition and L&D and will support the CHRO’s strategy around Employee Experience and L&D.

Oversee, develop, recommend, and lead key training initiatives across the Cubic organization, including but not limited to new manager development, deployment of our High Potential leadership series, individual or small group leadership development, new hire orientation and review of our competency frameworks.

Lead and manage the optimization of existing initiatives, processes, and programs needed to support ongoing development programs and continued growth of the organization.

Leverage experience and background in instructional design and adult learning to drive the creation and adoption of innovative and cutting-edge blended learning experiences utilizing digital, video, audio, mobile, and experiential learning formats.

Use influence, written, and verbal communication skills to socialize our L&D strategy and activities where learning is a lever to optimally support the business, and the impact of our learning experiences to date.

Partner with the global HR team and service line leaders to assess the learning and development needs of the organization.

Manage external providers to ensure resources (financial and non-financial) spent on outside initiatives are aligned to strategic objectives.

Utilize and leverage a wide array of analytics and data to define, implement and report on metrics that business leaders care about, gaining buy-in for overall Learning mission and deliverables. Identifies data-points that measure Learning effectiveness, ensuring constant grading and evaluation of overall function to achieve goals and deliver results.

Minimum Job Requirements:

8 - 10 years in a Learning & Development role

Bachelor’s degree in related field or experience in lieu of degree

Have been responsible for L&D processes and system automation

Proven ability to lead, motivate, and influence an organization through L&D needs and delivery

Demonstrated skills and experience managing change initiatives in a global organization

Workday and LinkedIn Learning experience a plus.
