Position Summary:
- Customer Service- Greeting, scanning customer s Identification
- Maintains law and order, and enforces all regulations in shop
- Directing customers and vendors in shop
- Energetic and focused personality with a demonstrated ability to take initiative
- This position requires excellent attendance and punctuality
- Must be able to work in a very independent environment, and ensure all directions and instructions are followed
thoroughly (such as delivery of items to client sites, vendor visit etc.)
Responsibilities:
- Performs a variety of security activities to ensure the safety of customers, staff, and visitors
- Patrols and monitors the access to facilities and grounds and documents all incidents
- Customer service greeting all customers
- Scan all customers ID's upon entering the shop
- Guards and secures designated entrances/exits to ensure that only patients, associates and authorized visitors enter the shop
- Monitors flow of visitors into and within facility providing directions to specific authorized destinations
- Responds to emergency/unusual situations, disturbances, disruptive visitors and other occurrences when assistance is requested
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma and/or its equivalent required.
Candidates given a tentative/conditional job offer must possess and maintain a valid NYS Guard License as a requirement.
NYS Dept. of State's 8 hour mandated certificate of training required.
Must be able to stand, strenuous physical activity, including climbing stairs, as well as standing or sitting for long periods of time.
