Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and monitoring vital signs
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document patient information, including medical history, symptoms, and treatment progress
- Educate patients and their families on healthcare procedures, medications, and self-care techniques
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
- Assist with medical procedures such as wound care, ostomy care, and catheterization
- Monitor patients for changes in condition and report any concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals
- Provide support and assistance to patients with memory care or dementia-related needs
Qualifications:
- Valid Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in the state of {location}
- Experience or knowledge in areas such as memory care, ostomy care, occupational health, ambulatory surgery center, or dementia care is preferred
- Proficient in taking accurate vital signs and documenting patient information
- Familiarity with medical imaging procedures such as mammography is a plus
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members
