McKinley Children's Center is a highly respected welfare organization with a comprehensive array of programs throughout southern California.
This position, located in Palmdale will service school-based and/or community-based clients between the ages of 0-21 years of age and his/her families.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide mental health services including individual and family counseling, specialized groups as needed in the schools and or community.
- Consult with an interdisciplinary team for initial assessments and treatment needs.
- Meet with each child/family for individual/family therapy at a minimum of a weekly basis (or as clinically indicated).
- Plan, implement and provide mental health services to the clients and their families.
- Maintain close contact with school personnel regarding each client's academic performance and behavior.
- Meet regularly with an interdisciplinary team to discuss treatment objectives, status and progress.
- Provide crisis intervention as required.
- Remain on call for clinical emergencies.
- Provide direct services to children and families in the school, home and/or community
- Participate in the agency's on-call rotation for STRTP coverage
- Maintain all required documentation in a timely manner and in accordance with contractual and regulatory standards.
- Attend all required supervision, department and agency meetings.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $73,000.00 - $83,000.00 per year
