JOB SUMMARY
The Maintenance Inventory Clerk will work under general supervision to coordinate activities involved with purchasing MRO supplies, services, and equipment for the maintenance department in accordance with company purchasing policies and procedures. She/He maintains an accurate inventory of maintenance parts needed for production equipment to limit downtime resulting from equipment breakdown.
Responsible for cycle counting inventory storerooms, maintaining the area in a clean dust free environment. Including ensuring parts are stored per general maintenance storeroom standards. Ensures all paperwork is tracked accordingly in Business Central and Manager Plus CMMS system.
This position is also responsible for understanding related Quality Management Systems including SQF, HACCP, and GMP to ensure safety and quality of employees and products.
The job duties include responsibility for assuring food safety and for food quality for GB products.
A supervisor or other person of authority should be notified if any issues or threats to food safety or food quality are observed.

DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Ø Receives requisitions from Manager Plus/Technicians/Managers to create/prepare/release purchase orders in Business Central.
Ø Places orders with vendors.
Ø Responsible for purchasing goods and services from only preferred vendors.
Ø Confers with vendors to obtain product information such as price and availability
Ø Maintains records such as items purchased, costs, delivery, and inventories within Manager Plus CMMS.
Ø Receives, Posts and Delivers processed POs and Credit Card receipts to the Accounting Department.
Ø Maintains cleanliness of work area(s).
Ø Practices and complies with all Company policies and procedures including safety and work rules, etc.
Ø Responsible for monitoring and following all food safety and quality procedures.
Ø Responsible to follow security protocol and report any suspicious activity and/or security violations.
Ø Performs other duties and special projects as directed by supervision.
Ø Ability to understand mechanized equipment as well as the dangers associated with them.
Ø Displays appropriate work ethics in the workplace and group settings which provides a positive influence.
Ø Able to stay focused in a loud working environment.
Ø Understands the management of Quality Systems and is familiar with SQF, HACCP, and GMP practices which help ensure the safety within the workplace and the production of a safe and quality product(s).
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Ø Must be able to work with little supervision.
Ø Must be able to show proficiency in Microsoft Word & Excel and have prior experience with CMMS or inventory systems.
Ø Must possess demonstrated problem solving abilities.
Ø Must be able to consistently produce accurate, professional-quality reports.
Ø Ability to work well with people and be teamwork oriented.
Ø Ability to generate written communication and operate required office equipment/computer system.
Ø Ability to read and review written communication
Ø Proficiency in conceptualizing and developing methodologies to increase the efficiency of the department.
Ø Demonstrated proficiency in organizing work area
Ø Ability to work in a fast paced, team environment.
Ø Demonstrates good verbal and written communication skills.
Ø Must have a flexible schedule which will accommodate various production schedules including shifting of start times and ability at times to work overtime.
PREFERREDREQUIRED LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONSPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT
Ø Use hands and fingers to handle objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms.
Ø Stoop, kneel and bend. Employee must lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and is required to ask for assistance if weight is exceeded.
Ø Exposure to environmental changes (heat, cold, dampness, chemicals).
Ø Working conditions; manufacturing environment requiring strict work/safety rules approximately 100% of the time.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
