Job Summary
The Office Admin and Data Entry Staff will be responsible for managing daily administrative tasks, ensuring efficient office operations, and maintaining accurate data records. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Administrative Duties:
- Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and respond to inquiries.
- Manage office supplies inventory and place orders as needed.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
- Maintain office filing systems, both electronic and physical.
- Assist with preparing reports, presentations, and correspondence.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
- Data Entry:
- Accurately input and update data into the company’s database.
- Verify data accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
- Generate reports and provide data analysis as requested.
- Maintain confidentiality of all company and client information.
- Customer Service:
- Greet and assist visitors in a professional and courteous manner.
- Address and resolve client inquiries and issues promptly.
- Provide support to other departments as needed.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative or data entry role.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with office equipment such as printers, scanners, and fax machines.
Working Conditions
- Location: This position requires the candidate to work on-site at our Washington, DC office.
- Hours: Full-time position, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Environment: Professional office setting with occasional opportunities for remote work based on company policy and needs.
