About the job
The objective of the Associate Buyer is to work under the direction of the President to build, manage, and report on the performance of the brand and product offer across Space NK US across all retail partners.
Areas of Responsibility:
Build strong relationships with our brand, retail and internal partners
· Assists President with conducting regular performance meetings with brands
· Assists President with creating market decks to present to retail partners
· Creates, manages, and shares all retailer forms; new line sheets, UPC management, and price change details
· Creates and manages internal new product workbook and shares with all cross functional team members
· Partners with Assistant Planners and brand partners on RTV’s, markdowns and chargebacks
· Meet go to market deadlines required by other departments
Work closely with Buyer to monitor and analyze business
· Generate weekly selling reports and business analysis to track selling, identify key trends, maximize opportunities and minimize liabilities to achieve continued growth and profitability
· Assists in analyzing class performance, planned class penetration, and average retail by class Support business improvement and commercial opportunities across departments
· Assists with quarterly shelf planning productivity analysis
Qualifications, Attributes and Experience:
· Previous experience in Buying, 1+ years
· Passion for beauty industry, brands, and products
- Enthusiastic and self-confident
· Proactive, entrepreneurial, self-starter who can identify opportunities and go after them
· Strong people skills with a focus and drive to build strong relationships both internally and externally
· Strong commercial acumen and savvy; comfortable with number and analytics
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Proven ability to organize and prioritize work effectively with a high sense of urgency
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
· A willingness to learn and try new things and an openness to change; actively seeks feedback from peers and managers

Pay: $6,500.00 - $7,083.33 per month
