Quarra Stone Company is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our Team!
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the upkeep, repair, and continuous improvement of manufacturing machines, equipment, and facilities. This role involves troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to ensure optimal production efficiency and safety. The Maintenance Technician plays a crucial role in minimizing downtime, enhancing machine and equipment reliability, and contributing to overall plant performance.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on production machinery and equipment and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and implement repairs.
- Respond promptly to equipment malfunctions and breakdowns.
- Assist in the installation and setup of new equipment and machinery and implement equipment upgrades and modifications to improve performance and reliability.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on buildings and systems.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.

As a result, we are seeking an additional Maintenance Technician to join our Maintenance Team.

Qualifications:
- Technical degree or certification in industrial maintenance, mechanical, or electrical engineering preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a maintenance role within the manufacturing industry, including CNC and/or robotic machinery, controls, and electric motors.
- Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to reach and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
- Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including exposure to noise, dust, and temperature variations.
The role involves working in a manufacturing plant with exposure to machinery and equipment.
Normal work hours are 7:00 – 3:00 Monday through Friday. The role may require working overtime as required to address emergency or high priority maintenance needs.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
