Operations and Office Services – New York, New York

We’re looking for an Operations, Health, and safety Intern to support our Operations and Office Services team. This is an exciting opportunity to learn and work in a fast-paced environment where you will build business relationships and develop necessary skills to work in a corporate setting.
The Junior Associate, Safety and Security will report primarily into the Senior Manager of Operations and the VP of Global Security team to contribute to facilities management, and employee health and safety.
THE ROLE
In this role you will be responsible for:
Creating engaging PowerPoint presentations on company security trainings and safety programs.
Sending correspondents and communications on upcoming company events
Tracking and organizing data related to site programs and audits
Collaborating with Senior leadership on creating new directives for security, health and safety
QUALIFICATIONS
We’d love to see candidates who have:
Essential:
A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
Must be able to work 40 hours per week during the summer of 2023
Exceptional organizational skills and great attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience using excel and other Microsoft office applications
Ability to work independently
Desirable:
Degree concentration in areas relating to occupational safety, security, business administration, communications, hospitality, and human resources
Team oriented with strong interpersonal Skills
A natural aptitude for problem solving and critical thinking
A curious mind open to knowledge and instruction

Base Salary Range: $25 an hour
