Job Summary:
We are looking to add to our already awesome team. We are wanting someone that is a team player and self starter. Prefer experience but willing to train the right person. Someone that is high energy, positive and enjoys working w/ children. PTO, health benefits, 401k, etc.
Your primary responsibilities will include assisting with dental procedures, taking X-rays, maintaining patient records, and ensuring a clean and sterile environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Take and develop dental X-rays
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist
- Take and record vital signs of patients
- Perform basic laboratory tasks such as pouring models and trimming impressions
- Maintain accurate patient records and update medical history as necessary
- Schedule appointments and manage the dental office calendar
- Provide excellent customer service to patients
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality
Skills:
- Proficiency in taking dental X-rays and operating dental imaging equipment
- Familiarity with dental receptionist duties such as scheduling appointments and managing patient records
- Understanding of aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment
- Strong organizational skills to manage patient flow and maintain efficient operations
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, dentists, and other team members
- Knowledge of medical imaging techniques used in dentistry
- Basic understanding of anatomy and oral health
