Job Description:
Bank of Abbeville & Trust Co. is currently seeking a Teller/Customer Service Representative for both our Abbeville and Maurice locations. We are looking for professionals who enjoy providing customer service while growing with a long-term financial institution.
The ideal candidate will be able to process a variety of financial transactions, including but not limited to deposits, withdrawals, loan payments and new account processing.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Provides timely and courteous service to all bank customers and assist them with financial transactions
Responds to customer inquiries in person and over the phone
Resolves routine issues and directs complex issues to the appropriate management staff member
Performs all operational activities in compliance with applicable laws and regulations
Participates in annual regulation and compliance training
Balances teller drawer daily
Maintains cash drawer in accordance with assigned cash limits

· High school diploma and prior banking or cash handling experience is a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $10.25 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
