Site Safety & Health Officer (SSHO) – Construction Health Safety Technician (CHST) certification - (Federal government construction projects)
- The SSHO must have a CHST Certification for this position and is required to have a minimum of 5 years of construction industry safety experience on similar projects.
- 30-hour OSHA construction safety class or equivalent within the last 5 years.
- An average of at least 24 hours of formal safety training each year for the past 5 years with training for competent person status for at least the following 4 areas of competency: Excavation; Scaffolding; Fall protection; Hazardous energy; Confined space; Health hazard recognition, evaluation and control of chemical, physical and biological agents;
- Personal protective equipment and clothing to include selection, use and maintenance.
- SSHO shall have Construction Health & Safety Technician (CHST) certification and will have no other duties other than safety and occupational health management, inspections, and enforcement.

Pay: Up to $140,000.00 per year
