As a McIntosh Sales Assistant, you will have the responsibilities of supporting Sales Account Managers in a variety of areas such as pursuing new business opportunities while also overseeing equipment needs and providing support for existing customers.
Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cooperating with the sales team to manage a portfolio of client accounts and developing new business opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service and address client inquiries promptly
- The ability to assist in building new business and grow existing business and customer relationships.
- Aggressively prospect and qualify potential clients generated through outbound calling, email initiatives, and attending appropriate industry events defined by sales management.
- Uphold McIntosh values and business ethics and have the commitment to company vision, mission, and values.
- Work closely with internal and external departments to develop new sales opportunities, establish and maintain effective relationships with outside vendors, ensure customer care, etc.
- Work closely with company management by offering timely communication and reporting.
- Learn new product offerings and effectively communicate them with potential new and existing customers.
- Attend customer specific meetings, conferences, and technology forums, as directed by the sales team.
- Learn and understand the process of client Purchase Orders, Requests for Proposals (RFP), Requests for Quotations (RFQ), and sealed bids.
- Maintain an orderly workspace.
- Help ensure timely processing of customers transactions.
