Clinical Supervisor - Family Medicine
The clinical supervisor provides day to day leadership to clinical staff in collaboration with medical directions and clinical training manager in all three practice locations including: Arden, Asheville and Candler.
- Evaluates assigned clinical staff on clinical and computer skills and completes annual reviews for clinical staff.
- Engages and provides direction to the clinical staff in all three practice locations: Ashville, Arden and Candler with weekly visits.
- Ensures the accurate and confidential maintenance of all patient recordkeeping systems.
- Evaluates and provides feedback of the staff’s clinical process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation for patient care.
- Serves as the liaison between the Clinical Quality/Training Manager, Office Supervisors and Clinical Staff.
- Responds to patient concerns and implements tool/protocols to improve patient satisfaction.
- Implements, maintains and monitors clinical policies and procedures.
- Communicates with providers, advanced practitioners, and staff regarding changes in workflow.
- Provides general clinical leadership to all clinical staff which facilitates the delivery of professional provision of primary care services for the comfort and well-being of FHC patients.
- Participates in staff management meetings as assigned.
- Reviews inventory of clinical supplies and submits order for approval.
- Assumes the role of clinical staff when needed to help maintain 1:1 ratio for provider to medical assistant.
- Reports E.H.R. issues to Office Supervisor, Quality Manager or Medical Directors for IT assistance.
- Registers, uploads data and maintains holter monitor program, vax care and other clinical programs.
- Promotes efficiency, safety, professionalism and confidentiality in a fast-paced environment.
- As a member of our patient care team, responsible for care coordination, patient population management and effective communication.
Desired Education and Experience:
- LPN or certified medical assistant.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in fast paced primary care health facility.
- Minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience; preferably in a primary care facility.
- Current adult, infant, and child CPR certification for health care providers.
Previous experience utilizing an electronic medical records system (EMR).
