We are seeking a dedicated Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) who is committed to providing exceptional anesthesia care and accepts Medicare. In this role, you will administer anesthesia and monitor patients during surgical, therapeutic, diagnostic, and obstetrical procedures. Your expertise in anesthesia delivery and patient care will ensure the safety, comfort, and well-being of our patients throughout their procedures.
Responsibilities:
-Assess patients before anesthesia administration to determine the appropriate type and dosage of anesthesia, taking into consideration Medicare guidelines and patient eligibility.
-Administer various types of anesthesia (general, regional, and local) according to established protocols, Medicare regulations, and patient needs.
-Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as necessary during procedures to ensure optimal outcomes and Medicare compliance.
-Manage patients' airways and respiratory status during anesthesia and recovery phases, adhering to Medicare standards for patient care.
-Collaborate effectively with surgeons, physicians, and healthcare professionals to develop and implement anesthesia care plans that align with Medicare reimbursement requirements.
-Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies and adverse anesthesia reactions, following Medicare guidelines and protocols.
-Maintain accurate anesthesia records and documentation, ensuring compliance with Medicare billing and documentation requirements.
-Stay informed about current Medicare regulations, reimbursement policies, and updates affecting anesthesia practice through continuing education and professional development.
Requirements:
-Current certification as a Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) and licensure as a registered nurse (RN).
-Graduation from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia educational program.
-Clinical experience in anesthesia practice, preferably in a hospital or surgical setting.
-Strong knowledge of anesthesia principles, practices, and techniques, with a thorough understanding of Medicare guidelines and reimbursement policies.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
-Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, ensuring patient safety and comfort while adhering to Medicare regulations.
-Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care and ethical practice.
Preferred Qualifications:
-Advanced certification or specialization in a relevant area of anesthesia practice.
-Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and Medicare billing software.
-Membership in professional organizations related to anesthesia practice and Medicare advocacy.
