SAFETY COMPLIANCE COORDINATOR

Responsibilities:
- Manage and issue New Hire Orientation and Apprentice safety gear.
- Conduct safety orientation on new hire first day
- Manage and maintain team gears database i.e., locks, harness, hot gears.
- Collect, count, and prepare rubber gloves for semi-annual testing.
- Order and replenish safety cabinet, PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), and JSAs (Job Safety Analysis) forms.
- Administer webstore and team member's order requests and quarterly allowances.
- Handle safety equipment during project mobilization and jobs returns.
- Conduct monthly Building Inspections, First Aid Kits, AED, Fire Extinguisher, Eyewash stations.
- Administratively support Safety Manager with safety network requirements.
- Assist in gathering information in support of RFP/RFQ processes.
- Support HR and Safety Department efforts in several areas of compliance reporting tied to the DOL, OSHA/MSHA, IDOT, IFTA, EEOC, etc. and our clients’ expectations.
- Will work primarily with the Safety teams, but scope of work will require daily contact with all team members – office and field.
Requirements:
- B.S. degree in a related field, and/or technical training in any safety-related field.
- Previous safety and/or compliance experience required.
- Computer proficiency in MS Office.
- LMS (Learning Management System) experience preferred.
- Powered Industrial Truck and Aerial Work Platform experience preferred.
- Strong organizational and time management skills required.
- Team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. #MKD2590
