Chief EngineerRequirements
- Previous hotel engineering experience, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, commercial kitchens, and general building construction, is required.
- Vocational training, certification, and/or apprenticeship in one or more areas; state certification or licensure where required.
- Chief Engineer candidates must be able to read and interpret drawings, diagrams, and blueprints. Read and understand test equipment and measuring devices.
- Strong business communication skills, verbal and written.
- Chief Engineer candidates must be flexible to work varying schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Someone who enjoys working as and being part of a team that provides great experiences for our Guests!
- Must be able to obtain an FSD certificate.
- Must be hands-on.
Compensation:
The anticipated compensation range for the position for applicants working in NYC is $75-$80K (depending on property) annually. The annual salary offered to a successful candidate will depend on several factors, including but not limited to years of experience within the job, years of experience within the required industry, education, etc.
