Job Summary:
The Space Operations Program Manager will oversee and coordinate space-related programs within Freedom Space Technologies, Inc. (Freedom Space). This role requires expertise in space operations, program management, and security protocols. The successful candidate will lead a team, ensure program success, and maintain compliance with security clearance requirements. YOU MUST POSSESS OR BE ELIGIBLE FOR A TOP SECRET CLEARANCE.
Responsibilities:
- Program Oversight:
- Manage the execution of space-related programs including satellite communication, tracking, and control.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including hardware/software/network engineering, operations, accounting, human resources and security.
- Ensure successful execution of space missions and adherence to program schedules and budgets.
- Security Clearance Management:
- Possess or be eligible for a Top-Secret clearance.
- Monitor and track clearance processing activities for program personnel.
- Program Leadership:
- Lead and mentor program teams, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Set program objectives, allocate resources, and manage risks.
- Foster collaboration and innovation among team members.
- Risk Mitigation and Compliance:
- Identify and address program risks.
- Ensure compliance with security protocols and program requirements.
- Implement best practices for program management.
- Travel Coordination:
- Coordinate travel for program-related activities.
- Attend conferences, meetings, and training sessions related to space operations.

- Communication and Reporting:
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including government agencies and contractors.
- Prepare reports on program performance, challenges, and improvements.
Qualifications:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Five or more years of relevant technical program management experience in space operations or related fields.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent professional and interpersonal communication skills.
- Possess or be eligible for immediate Top-Secret clearance.
- Highly Desired: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Program Management).
- Highly Desired: Project Management Certifications (e.g., CAPM, PMP, etc.)

Pay: $135,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
