Overview:
The Mental Health Counselor will be responsible for providing on-site and virtual counseling services to team members dealing with various mental health challenges.
This will be an onsite role, with oversight by the Executive Director of Total Rewards & HR Operations. The schedule may vary based on the needs of team members and the organization.
This role will be 1099.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct confidential individual counseling session with team members to address a range of mental health concerns, including stress, anxiety, depression, work-related issues, and interpersonal conflicts.

Provide immediate support and crisis intervention services to team members experiencing acute mental health crises or emergencies.

Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to evaluate team members, needs and make appropriate referrals to external resources or specialists when necessary.

Collaborate with Employee Health, the People Team, and leaders to develop and implement mental health initiatives and programs as needed to foster a supportive work environment.

Maintain accurate and confidential records of counseling sessions, assessments, and referrals in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines.
Qualifications:
Skills

Strong clinical assessment and intervention skills, with knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic expertise.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards of practice.

Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights and weekends based on team member needs.
Experience & Education Required

Master's degree or higher in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field

Current licensure as a mental health counselor in the State of Delaware.

Ability to see patients in person and virtually in the State of Delaware.

5+ years of experience providing counseling services, preferably in an organization setting.
Starting at: USD $80,000.00/Yr.
