At My Painter & Exteriors, we are seeking a commercial sales associtate to join our team. Our goal is to bring someone into our company who is team oriented and is aligned with our core values. - Ensuring a great hand-off to the crew performing the work.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Ability to take accurate measurements and notes for building a scope of work.
- Ability to read plans & provide accurate take offs for bidding.
- Hunting for new opportunities 80% of the time.
- Maintaining relationships / run commercial leads 20% of the time.
- Actively engages in team meetings.
- Ability to negotiate, obtain budgets, and know what margins to put bids in at.
- Networking.
Achieving great performance looks like:
- Selling a minimal of $1.5m on your first calendar year.
- Hitting KPI's and presenting KPI's during team meetings.
- Attending regular networking events such as CAI, PMA, & Chamber of Commerce.
- Touching base with existing customers in data base for new opportunities.
- Achieving and exceeding profitability goals.
Qualifications:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with diverse audiences.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Team- oriented and willingness to grow.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in business or a related field is a plus.
- History of commercial construction or single trade.
Benefits:
- Pay structure to $50,000 salary per year.
- Commission pay to be on gross profit of projects. Half at deposit and half on close out.
- Commission is on scale of close out.
