Our expertise is selling memberships at country clubs, golf clubs, boat clubs, yacht clubs, and racing clubs.
Capstone Hospitality is seeking a driven and motivated sales professional with a background in collegiate or professional sports to become the next Golf Membership Sales Director and sell private golf memberships at a client club.
This position requires an initial training period of 14-21 days at the Capstone headquarters in Jacksonville, FL (free housing provided during training period). After completion of training, Membership Sales Director will work on-site at a client club in Rochester, NY, selling private memberships. Applicants must live in, or be willing to relocate to, location at private client club in Rochester, NY.
Primary Role and Responsibilities include:
- Direct membership sales to new members at Capstone's private client club
- Meet and exceed monthly and annual membership sales budget goals
- Implement strategic membership sales plan at the client club
- Implement the Capstone Hospitality lead generation programs to generate new qualified leads for prospective new members
- Generate new leads via outbound calling, networking, and marketing
- Complete new member sales reporting and on-boarding documentation
- Work with current club members and staff to promote referral programs
- Become an integral part of the club staff on-site at the private club and provide exceptional client relations to club management and staff
- Generate and submit accurate monthly and annual sales reports
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years professional work experience in sales and marketing
- Minimum of 2 years collegiate or professional sports experience preferred
- Must be a golfer
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
- Must be willing to attend training in Jacksonville, FL
- Must be willing to work on-site at client club in Rochester, NY
- Strong partnering, influencing, and relationship building skills
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced work environment, meet deadlines. and handle pressure
- Self-driven and highly-motivated
- Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and CRM systems
- Strong organizational skills
- Work takes place in a client club setting and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment, as well as the capability to perform both sedentary tasks and walk around within the club premises as necessary
Schedule: Full-time position. Tuesday - Saturday.
Income Summary: Performance-based compensation. Average annual compensation inclusive of base + commissions is $65,000-$75,000+. Sales professionals enjoy the ability to control their own income with uncapped commissions.
