We are currently seeking a devoted individual who is positive, fun, and enjoys working with children.
The hours would be M-F 12:00- 5:45pm.
-Must be willing to have fun with the children to promote their interest of learning.
-This individual will need to establish and enforce rules of behavior for children in their classrooms.
-Provide basic needs for children.
-Provide tools and resources for children to use and explore during learning and play activities.
-Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the interests and learning styles of children.
-Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, parents, co-workers, and directors.
-Manage classroom activities including curriculum lessons plans, play, breaks, and meals.
-Track childrens’ progress and report to parents on Procare Engagement Application.
-Maintain a clean and tidy environment.
-Help children reach developmental milestones.
-Collaborate with others to implement lesson plans.
-Encourage children to interact with each other to develop social skills.
-Provide appropriate supervision for children at all times.
-Maintain inventory system for classroom materials and supplies.
-Facilitate various activities for children including songs, games and storytelling.
-Adhere to health/safety and sanitation procedures.
- 12 clock hour trainings per year. CPR / Health and Safety Trainings. Must be 18 years or older to apply.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $1,280.00 - $3,000.00 per month
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No nights
- No weekends

- CPR Certification (Preferred)
- Child Development Associate Certification (Preferred)
Ability to Relocate:
- Lafayette, LA 70508: Relocate before starting work (Required)
