Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Behavior professional to support students in managing behavioral and emotional challenges. The ideal candidate will work closely with as team of educators to implement strategies that foster positive behavior and emotional well-being among students.

Salary:
$60k-$70k per year
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to understand students' behavioral and emotional needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, educational teams and families to develop and implement individualized behavior plans.
- Provide direct support and intervention for students facing emotional or behavioral challenges.
- Foster a positive and inclusive school environment through proactive strategies.
- Conduct social-emotional learning sessions to enhance students' emotional understanding.
- Monitor and track student progress, adjusting intervention plans as needed.
- Act as a liaison between educators, parents, and other support staff.
- Provide resources and training to teachers on behavior management techniques.
- Participate in multidisciplinary teams to address complex student cases.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Education, or a related field.
- Previous experience working with students with behavioral or emotional challenges.
- Knowledge of behavior management strategies and positive behavior interventions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and other professionals.
- Empathy and patience when working with students facing emotional difficulties.
- Understanding of special education practices and laws.
