Wildflower Learning Center is looking for a certified Special Education Teacher to be part of a team of teachers, speech-language pathologists, and occupational therapists working in a learning center supporting neurodiverse learners and children with disabilities. This teacher will be co-teaching alongside a speech-language pathologist with low teacher-student ratios. The team will collaborate with parents to develop support for independent home learning. -Attend Orientation 8/28/24, 10am-2pm in Nolensville, TN
-Initial Staff Meeting 8/30/24, 9:30am-10:30am in Nolensville, TN
-Monthly Staff Meetings-First Friday (no September and No May) 9:30am - 10:30am in Nolensville, TN
-Guided curriculum prep for core classes: Math, ELA, Science, History (common core standards)
-Provide one lesson per week in each of the 4 core subject areas for your class (except for 1 day students)
-Monthly 30 minute check-ins with parents/family; this can be done by phone call, in person, or video call.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20,000.00 per year
