Job Title: Production Team Member
Department: Operations
Reports to: Supervisor
Location: American Fork, Utah
Shift Time: Day Shift Monday-Friday 6:00am-2:30pm.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Receiving, inspecting, milling, packing, and distributing the product

Adhere to standard work methods and practice safe work habits to ensure production is as efficient and safe as possible

Pass cleaning tests and complete all cleaning requirements set forth by the quality assurance department and other third-party inspections

Great care is taken to clean the rooms, tools, and equipment used during all operations
-
The ability to read instructions and/or labels efficiently, attach labels and tags to products and packages, communicate effectively and frequent lifting of products in preparation for canning products.

Other duties as assigned
Safety REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:

Comply with the EHS&S Policy and applicable regulatory and company EH&S rules and requirements.

Report to supervision conditions or practices that are either unsafe or that may adversely impact the environment, to ensure prompt resolution of potential hazards.

Actively support the organization’s efforts to meet or exceed EH&S goals and plans.

Practices safe work habits and follows general safety procedures such as proper lifting and bending, ergonomics, proper use of equipment and use of personal protection equipment (PPE).

Ensures lockout procedures are followed any time the equipment is being cleaned or maintained.
Product Safety and Quality:

Follows Product Safety and Quality standards.

Follows GMP’s regarding food contact packaging as it pertains to the employee.

Follows IPC product defense standards and complies with all SQF requirements.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS - Must be able to perform the following functions with or without accommodations:

Occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling; and frequent fine finger dexterity.

50% or more sitting, 50% or more walking, and 40% or more standing.

The job is performed under occasional temperature variations and in a food manufacturing production environment.

Unrestricted visual and audio abilities are required for the safety of all employees. The ability to lift to 50 lbs. is required.
