About the Role:
We are looking for an ambitious and driven Sales Representative to help us grow our community! This role requires cultivating relationships with senior-level executives to build interest and attendance for a portfolio of our B2B Exchanges. In this role, you will be identifying and connecting with C- Level executives through calls, LinkedIn, social media approaches, and email campaigns.
This role requires previous professional experience, however, if you bring the right attitude, we’ll teach you everything required to become a sales top performer including:
- Market research, analysis, and lead sourcing.
- Business and executive level communication.
- Value-based and social selling techniques.
- How to own your success.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and recruit C-suite / Executive Level participants to enroll in relevant networking event programs.
- Researching to find new event attendees and reaching out to past attendees to sell attendance packages.
- Managing all aspects of the delegate acquisition sales process including pipeline management, notes, and updating account records.
- Develop an acute understanding and general awareness of the key industries into which this person will be selling into.
- Grow database through prospecting efforts; sourcing contact details by leveraging data platforms i.e., ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, etc.
- Follow up with inbound leads generated by marketing and other sources using primarily cold calling and tools like LinkedIn, cold email, and social media.
- Qualify new customers and guide them to the right event (a focus on converting both inbound marketing leads and outbound).
- Ensure CRM (Customer Relationship Management) and sales documents are updated, ensuring a smooth delivery process.
- Understand and keep up to date with industry and competitive landscape knowledge.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- 0-2 years of professional experience in customer service, sales, recruitment, hospitality, research, journalism, and/or event marketing preferred.
- Candidates must have strong communication skills and thrive in a results-oriented, fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work in both office and remote environments. Must have exceptional time management skills and work ethic.
- Able to provide high-value sales deals and meet sales deadlines and quotas, preferably in a B2B or solution-selling environment.
