California Salary Range: $24.81 - $34.74 Hourly
Job Summary
The EPMO Coordinator is pivotal in providing extensive administrative and operational support to enhance the effectiveness of project, program, and portfolio management across the organization. The EPMO Coordinator applies critical thinking, multi-tasking, and exceptional communication skills to liaise between project teams, stakeholders, and senior management.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Administrative Support: Provide comprehensive administrative support to the EPMO team, including scheduling meetings, preparing meeting agendas, taking minutes, and managing project documentation and reports.
- Project Coordination: Assist project and program managers in the planning, execution, and closing of projects. Track project timelines, budgets, and resource allocations, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as a key point of contact for project stakeholders, facilitating clear and timely communication between the EPMO, project teams, and external parties.
- Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date project data in the project management information system (PMIS). Generate reports and dashboards to support decision-making processes. Design and prepare regular and ad hoc reports on a variety of metrics and areas, such as project status and portfolio dashboards
- Process Improvement: Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes and standards. Participate in the development and implementation of new tools and techniques to enhance operational efficiency.
- Training and Development: Assist in organizing training sessions and workshops for project management methodologies, tools, and best practices. Support the onboarding of new team members.
- Works openly and collaboratively with EPMO staff during all phases of the project lifecycle
- Assist project managers and program managers with the development of project documentation.
- Monitor, evaluate and collect data on metrics, such as Project Management effectiveness and processes.
- Performs other related duties/responsibilities as assigned or requested.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Project Management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience may be qualifying.
- 1-2 years of experience in an administrative or project coordination role, preferably within a healthcare or project management office setting.
