Job Description:
Position Title: Sourcing Analyst - NPD and Product Transfer
Location: Bothell, WA
Reporting to: Manager, Strategic Sourcing Analysis AWP
The selected candidate for this role will help create a competitive advantage by analyzing data and reporting KPI´s to the Terex Aerial Work Platform (AWP) Strategic Sourcing Organization and key business stakeholders, specifically for projects associated with New Product Development (NPD) programs. The role will support the implementation of Strategic Sourcing strategies utilizing global data from multiple systems. This role will be critical in executing the strategies of the Strategic Sourcing Organization by establishing, continuously improving, and maintaining data systems and process capabilities for NPD and Product Move & Transfer projects.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Providing Sourcing analytics and data management support to the NPD / Product Transfers project teams for the assigned projects, including industry research and supply continuity efforts
Liaise with Terex Business Units to ensure accuracy of information relating to Supplier management – pricing, incoterms, payment terms, usage, forecast and supplier data
Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of sourcing tools and software solutions
Partner with NPD / Product Transfers project teams to ensure analytics is being properly deployed to facilitate:
Negotiations preparation including RFI/RFQ/RFP activity
Cost projections and/or simulations
Informed sourcing decisions
Supplier and internal opportunity identification
Implementation activities
Work with the Strategic Sourcing Leadership Team to define and document sourcing processes for the Strategic Sourcing group, aligned with the Terex sourcing methodology
Ensure the monitoring and timely reporting of Sourcing Key Performance Indicators and Scorecards
Other reasonable duties or project work as requested by NPD / Product Transfers project leaders or the Strategic Sourcing Analytics management team
Identification and recommendation of opportunities and process improvements throughout the sourcing and/or project lifecycle
Maintenance of a central repository for Supply Chain documentation, ensuring all documentation is maintained and organized in line with the appropriate storage and naming conventions
Must be willing and able to participate in global project or supplier meetings as needed, potentially outside of normal business hours
Required Qualifications
University degree in a relevant field such as business administration, supply chain, information systems, applied mathematics
2-3 years in supply chain, analytics and/or information system roles
Proven experience within a commercially focused environment
Experience within a global OEM, specifically mobile equipment, is preferred
Strong analytics skills with proven experience in data analysis and research
Knowledge of data quality measurement methodology and reporting tools
Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access)
Ability to identify problems and provide effective solutions
Financial awareness and ability to assess the commercial viability of data analysis and research
Highly organized, self-managing, and capable of managing a large workload and competing priorities
Fluency in English, both written and spoken
Integrity and Trust
Superior attention to detail
Ability to travel depending on business needs
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in using data visualization tools such as Qlik, Tableau, Microsoft Power BI
Working knowledge of Oracle ERP and reporting platforms
Fluency in basic manufacturing processes
Process management
Excellent listening, communication, and relationship skills
Excellent presentation skills
Any other languages are an advantage
The compensation range for this position is $68,000 - $75,000 annually. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.
