We are seeking an experienced Market Research Manager - Consumer Product Marketing, with effective communication, consultation and analytics skills to join our Research + Insights team. This role will be responsible for delivering high-impact, actionable market and customer insights related to marketing strategies for the Microsoft 365 and Copilot Pro Consumer Subscription Business.
Microsoft 365 is one of our fastest growing businesses with significant strategic importance to Microsoft’s future within consumer products. More broadly, the business is looking to further build out and develop its ecosystem of consumer products to provide a ‘better together’ experience.
This role will support the Microsoft 365 consumer business to grow revenue by helping to increase the number of subscribers and daily users. Microsoft 365 exists as both a free offering and a subscription– so understanding the dynamics of subscription models and how to upsell paid solutions to free subscribers is desirable. This includes exploring a variety of new opportunities, evaluating our mobile offer, considering new standalone SKU offerings, and maximizing the value propositions.
The role will also require understanding Microsoft 365’s place in the broader ecosystem of consumer products and how the suite can help drive adoption and engagement of other Microsoft products and, vice versa.
Our Research + Insights team is one of the largest and most innovative market research departments in the world and partners with the company’s core businesses. We are close to and in constant contact with our business partners, and our work has global reach and impact. Our people are research professionals with a consultative approach who thrive on tackling significant business opportunities and influencing decision makers at all levels. We are intellectually curious, analytical, impact driven, persistent, and not shy about sharing our opinions and recommendations. We are passionate about developing ourselves, our careers, and our profession. And above all, we aspire and strive to have an open, inclusive, and transparent culture.
Microsoft’s mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. As employees we come together with a growth mindset, innovate to empower others, and collaborate to realize our shared goals. Each day we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond.
