Servers are the “personality” of the restaurant and must treat guests with consideration, respect, and attentiveness at all times. Typical duties include: greet and seat customers, wait on tables, take customers orders in person and over the phone, record orders correctly and quickly, communicate orders efficiently and clearly with the kitchen team, answer questions about the menu and food, know details about how the food is prepared and what the ingredients are, know the drink and alcohol menu, make cocktails, pour beer/wine, take payment, clean tables, restaurant/bar, and bathrooms at end of the shift, keep incident records. All employees must rigorously follow all safety protocols and arrive on time for their scheduled shift properly dressed, nourished, prepared to work, and ready to rock their full shift.
