**Candidates Must Reside w/in 100 miles of Seattle, WA**
Our client, a prominent multi-state health care organization, is seeking a program manager with 7+ years leading complex, multi-stakeholder projects. In this role you will be leading a partnership between our client and one of Seattle's professional sports teams to improve mental health access in a local school district. Your role will be managing multiple workstreams, interfacing with senior leaders, and ensuring the program meets its intended goals.
The ideal match for this role will be a mission-driven high performer with exceptional communication skills. You are a strategic thinker who can efficiently guide the project, and can also dive in to handle hands-on PM tasks. Health care, mental health, or education experience is a plus.
- Project Duration: 12 months
- Location: Primarily remote. 1-2 meetings per month in the greater Seattle area.
- Start Date: ASAP, Ideally July 8th
- Hours per Week: 15-25 based on workload (averaging 20 over course of project)
- Schedule: Set your own hours between 8am and 5pm M-F. Must be able to work at least 4 days per week. Ability to flex your schedule to accommodate meetings a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate across all project workstreams, moving work forward and ensuring milestones are on track
- Facilitate meetings - create meeting agendas, slide decks, and comprehensive meeting notes
- Brief executive sponsor on key issues and decisions, including preparing alternatives and recommendations
- Work with school district leadership and program partners to launch mental health programming
- Liase between project partners, creating alignment on strategic goals
- Lead the annual planning process and in-person workshop for the 25-26 school year
- Appear in-person at partnership events to present information about the program to leaders and staff
- Build tools and processes that will allow the school district to take over management of the program in the 2025-26 school year. Mentor school district staff in project management methodologies.
- Prepare executive-level program status updates in PowerPoint and email
- In partnership with Communications team, prepare materials to share program results with external stakeholders
- Create project plans and track progress against plan
- Manage risks, issues, and action items
- Quickly come up to speed on subject matter domain
Requirements:
- PMP Certification, or 10+ years experience managing large multi-stakeholder projects
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Compensation:
This is a W2 hourly contract role, and does not include benefits.
