RECRUITER/ HR ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

Our company is experiencing phenomenal growth, and we are looking for a dynamic Recruiter/HR Administrative Assistant to join our Olive Branch team!
DMC Power is looking to hire a BILINGUAL Recruiter/HR Administrative Assistant with full cycle recruiting experience utilizing resources such as Indeed, ZipRecruiter, etc. This position will be responsible for every aspect of the candidate’s journey, from posting jobs online, conducting phone interviews, scheduling in-person interviews, extending offers, initiating pre-employments screenings as well as conducting new hire onboarding orientation. The successful candidate will collaborate with our management team on a regular basis and proactively identify and fulfill our hiring needs. Ultimately, the responsibilities of the Recruiter/HR Administrative Assistant are to ensure our company attracts and hires the best employees, while growing a strong talent pipeline.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and update job descriptions and job specifications
- Prepare recruitment materials and post jobs to appropriate job board/newspapers/colleges, etc.
- Screen candidate’s resumes and job applications
- Conduct phone interviews and schedule in-person interviews for qualified candidates
- Assess applicants' relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience and aptitudes
- Onboard new employees in order to become fully integrated
- Monitor and apply HR recruiting best practices
- Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process
- Promote company's reputation as best place to work
- Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office.
- Answer phone calls, schedule meetings and support visitors.
- Carry out administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning etc.
- Coordinate internal and external resources to expedite workflow.
- Support the Human Resource Manager
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of one-year proven work experience as a Recruiter (either in-house or staffing agency recruiter), preferably in a manufacturing setting.
- Minimum of three to five years of administrative experience.
- Must be able to act in an ethical manner and maintain highly confidential and proprietary information.
- Must possess well-developed written and verbal communication skills and strong analytical, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Must possess strong organizational and attention to detail abilities.
- Must have the ability to handle and resolve confidential/sensitive issues with tact and diplomacy and maintain a professional demeanor.
- Must have the ability to work well with deadlines and quickly adapt to changing priorities.
- Proficient in use of MS Word, and Excel
- Bilingual Required (English/Spanish)
Hours: Monday – Friday 8am-5 pm. Full-time position, 40 hours per week in our Olive Branch location.
