- Assist veterinarians in providing medical care to animals
- Perform various veterinary procedures and treatments under the supervision of a veterinarian
- Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments to animals
- Conduct laboratory tests and analyze samples
- Monitor and record vital signs of animals
- Prepare animals for surgery and assist during surgical procedures
- Provide post-operative care and monitor recovery of animals
- Perform dental cleanings and assist with dental procedures
- Educate pet owners on proper animal care and medication administration
```Qualifications```
- Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) or Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) preferred
- Experience working as a veterinary technician
- Knowledge of aseptic technique and veterinary critical care
- Proficiency in laboratory procedures and sample analysis
- Strong animal handling skills and ability to work with a variety of species
- Knowledge of veterinary medicine, anatomy, and physiology
- Ability to perform animal catheterization
