The role of software engineering senior manager plays an important role by leading and managing the team of skilled professional engineers in qualifying solutions and use-case for Juniper customers. This role entails a highly skilled technical professional along with exemplary leadership qualities to meet business objectives. As a decision-maker, he/she would be responsible for planning the project work, managing professional team, promoting best practices, hiring talented professionals, and maintaining ecosystem to maximum his/her direct-report employee’s potential.
Responsibilities:
- Drive the execution and delivery of product/software solution by managing and leading a team of skilled professional engineers.
- Being in a leadership role, work closely with the team to strategize and execute on delivering production grade solutions across market segment.
- Gather requirements, implement, and deliver committed scope meeting release schedule without compromising the quality.
- Identify and allocate resources which includes human resources, tools, techniques, equipment based on KPI metrics.
- Optimize CAPEX/OPEX during project delivery, extend for future use in regressions.
- Agility through automation.
- Guide the team in building test plans based on specifications and customer use-case across segments.
- Own functional qualifications right from inception to production in regression.
- Must educate the team on the goals and business objectives.
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with the team.

- Make critical decisions which attributes to the success of the product and solution.
- Work with stakeholders to review project and execution plan.
- Define entry and exit criteria for each phase of the project.
- Identify and have mitigation plans for identified risks.
- Consolidation and projection of project deliverables on preset regular intervals.

Minimum Salary: $179,200.00
Maximum Salary:$257,600.00
The pay range for this position is expected to be between $179,200.00 and $257,600.00/year; however, the base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position also includes medical benefits, 401(k) eligibility, vacation, sick time, and parental leave. Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
