Role - Senior Director of Sales - Full time
The Senior Director of Sales and Business Development will lead the sales efforts for services and system solutions within the Aerospace industry. This pivotal role focuses on expanding Cyient's market footprint, developing new revenue streams, and nurturing existing client relationships. The position requires collaboration across global and regional teams, including Global Delivery, Marketing, Strategy, and Business Development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize strong Pratt & Whitney experience and industry relationships to drive sales of Aerospace Engines solutions.
- Employ active listening skills to identify customer pain points and effectively communicate Cyient's value propositions at the executive level.
- Lead and collaborate with extended teams including delivery, technical resources, lead generation, business development, finance, and human resources.
- Manage revenue, purchase orders, gross margin, and days sales outstanding to meet financial targets.
- Build and maintain executive-level relationships with customers, engaging across VP, Director, and Managerial levels to understand operational needs and growth strategies.
- Conduct account research to align Cyient service offerings with customer product and process segments.
- Qualify leads by assessing Budget, Authority, Need, Timeframe, and compelling reasons to act.
- Develop and implement comprehensive account plans outlining strategies for maintaining and growing existing business.
- Identify potential new customers and manage relationships with existing and new clients.
- Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure schedule, cost, and quality commitments are met.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to senior and executive-level managers.
- Maintain accurate sales opportunity reporting using Salesforce.com.
- Collaborate with delivery teams to create incremental customer value through innovative solutions.
Requirements:
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Demonstrated experience in networking with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent professional presentation skills.
- Experience in Account Management is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a multinational and multicultural environment.
- Self-motivated with occasional travel required.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a global team.
- Previous experience in business development activities such as market research, lead management, or presales support.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Proven track record in sales and business development within the Aerospace industry.
- Minimum [X] years of experience in a similar role.
