Materials Coordinator
Job Summary:
The Materials Coordinator oversees accurately packing and preparing shipments for all company products. Works effectively and efficiently in a warehouse environment to receive and schedule shipping and freight operations, including developing a working knowledge of warehouse organization and creating proper and detailed shipping documentation.
Key-Responsibility:
- Prepares products, spare parts, return parts, and other items for shipment following established procedures for packaging, crating, boxing, bundling, wrapping, strapping, and labeling
- Operates and supports machines to properly pack and minimize damage to units/products in the shipment
- Updates spreadsheet information
- Moves units/products to the loading dock and/or storage area or correctly loads on freight carrier vehicles
- Retrieves units from Finished Goods according to the packing slip
- Maintain an organized, safe, and efficient work area
- Ensure compliance with export regulations and company policies
- Must follow company safety policies and procedures
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- One year of shipping experience
- Maintain proper shipping supplies
- Must have basic math skills
- Basic computer skills (Windows applications)
- Forklift certification (if expired, will supply training)
- Lift to fifty pounds
Desired Qualifications:
- Ability to use UPS and FedEx systems to properly ship outbound shipments
- Flexible work schedule to accommodate overtime as needed
- Ability to communicate in English effectively in both written and verbal forms

Job Type: Temp-to-hire
Pay: $20.43 - $24.61 per hour
