Position Overview

Join The Shelly Company as a Quality Control Technician, where you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity and quality of our aggregates and asphalt mixes. As an integral part of our team, you’ll conduct tests, analyze results, and collaborate with your team to fine-tune our mix into perfection. Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)

The duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

· Conducting meticulous tests on aggregate and asphalt mix to ensure compliance with stringent specifications.

· Collaborating with seasoned technicians to understand and master various mix specifications.

· Monitoring and maintaining the quality of hot mix asphalt during production and on-site installation.

· Utilizing cutting-edge technology to test materials for weight, temperature, thickness, and gradation, ensuring top-notch performance.

· Effectively communicating test results and recommendations to pave the way for continuous improvement.

· Harnessing the power of technology to input and analyze test data with precision and efficiency.

· Providing invaluable support to paving personnel, facilitating seamless adjustments to processes to meet specifications and exceed expectations.

· Must possess or have the ability to learn basic computer software skills, such as Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
