Position Summary:
This role is responsible for the daily activities across SIF note life cycle, including activities such as ensuring smooth and efficient execution of investor communication, transaction processing and engagement activities. The position works in close collaboration with the Finance and Investor Relations teams to ensure service level targets are met. The role is required to resolve issues within the investment portfolio and provide exceptional customer service in all interactions. Additional responsibilities include operational support of the loan portfolio and assisting the Director of Loan and Investment Operations in improving the efficiency of operational processes across the department. Other responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Social Investment Fund (60%):
Perform all investment servicing activity for a significant impact fund which includes individual, institutional and corporate investors.
Ensure all day-to-day activity is tracked and executed in a timely manner which includes but is not limited to:
- Perform accurate and timely transaction processing including account opening, contributions, interest / fee processing, redemptions, quarterly distributions, and client communications.
- Help Investor Relations, individual investors and investment advisors with fund and account activity
Maintain the investment system, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information on transactions and investor contacts. Collaborate with relevant teams to ensure data integrity and completeness.
Support the preparation and distribution of investor communications, such as press releases, financial reports, presentations, prospectus and other relevant materials.
Exemplify exceptional customer service by promptly addressing inquiries, providing accurate information, and resolving issues to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Monitor and report on investor activity and investor sentiment.
Support compliance with regulatory requirements and disclosure obligations and securities laws. Stay informed about changes and updates in compliance standards and implement necessary operational measures.
Loan Administration & Closing support (30%):
As needed provide back up support for operational activity of the loan portfolio which may include but is not limited to the following: Ensure all day-to-day servicing activities are performed within SLA times, have excellent quality, and adhere to policies and procedures requirements.
- Producing loan statements, processing ACH uploads for payments, and reconciling loan and loan participation transactions
- Performing Loan disbursement and payments
- Income and expense processing
Assist in resolution of incoming phone and email inquiries from borrowers
Coordinate with borrowers, attorneys, lending, and accounting teams to ensure timely and accurate completion of loan closing and funding tasks once the final Credit Memo is issued.
Other (10%):
- Assist in the development and implementation of process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
- Create, track, and distribute various documents and reports within required times.
- Identify and address any potential bottlenecks or issues that may impact timelines or quality, and keep supervisor informed.
- Consistently adhere to organizational procedures and compliance standards to ensure the highest level of operational efficiency, accuracy, and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and seamless coordination throughout the investment cycle.
- Actively participate in various meetings, offering valuable insights and contributing to productive discussions that drive collaboration and informed decision-making across the organization.

Qualifications and Required Skills:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a financial operation setting
- Excellent verbal and written English skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required
- Must be able to use a computer for extended periods of time up to eight hours per day
- Able to work in a collaborative manner, solicit input and advice from others
- Ability to problem solve
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
- Minimum 1 year of demonstrated experience in a customer service environment
- Must be able to work during RSF’s Pacific Standard Time work hours
- Must be available to occasionally work outside of regular office hours when needed
- Located in the San Francisco Bay Area or Chandler, AZ metro area
- Hybrid role with ability to work in office 3-4 times per month
- Minimum travel to San Francisco Bay Area required annually (1 or 2 times per year)
Preferred:
- Ability to identify operational process improvements
- Knowledge of the following systems: iPhi and Salesforce
- Knowledge of investment note operations

Pay: $45,000.00 - $62,000.00 per year
