Delivery Metrics
- Value Delivered Metrics: Measure the business value delivered by your teams. This could include features committed to versus released, user stories completed, bugs versus features with rationale for the productivity of the teams
- Delivery Efficiency Metrics: Assess how efficiently your teams are delivering software. Look at lead time (from idea to deployment) and cycle time (from development to deployment).
- Backlog Health Metrics: Evaluate the health of your backlog. Consider metrics like backlog size, aging items, and prioritization effectiveness.
- Delivery Quality Metrics: Focus on software quality. Metrics can include defect density, code review feedback, and test coverage.
- Sprint Metrics (Dependability Metrics): Assess sprint performance. Metrics include sprint completion rate, sprint goals achieved, and velocity, team improvements and actions to close gaps.
- Code Metrics: Examine code-related metrics. Consider commit counts, pull request metrics, and code complexity.

What will make you successful:
- Strong engineering background implementing customer-facing mission-critical web applications in C#, React, or comparable frameworks. Azure experience a plus.
- Strong Product mind, able to contribute to evolution of product requirements and help shape product and roadmap decisions by providing sound advice across the functional/technical spectrum
- 10+ years total experience in software development and 5+ years of experience leading diverse global teams of different competencies and sizes.
- Ability to multitask and manage several projects simultaneously.
- Overseeing technology changes and effective execution including optimization of the current code base, improving the process of delivery execution using devops practices, and developing a SaaS offering
- IOS/Android mobile experience is a plus
- Experience in Life Insurance, Annuities, InsTech / Insurance Industry, or broader FinTech is a plus
- Experience with consulting / client-delivery / solutions delivery environments and activities is a plus
- Deep experience with large footprint 3rd party integrations and external software integrations
- Deep knowledge of Agile delivery methodology and metrics tracking and continuous improvement.
- Strong leadership, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage third-party relationships when required.

Expected hours of Work:
This is a full-time position with regular office hours Monday through Friday. This position may work with the India office a few days a week and will require an earlier start to the day around 6:30MT. This position may require after work hours and occasional weekends, depending on work demands.
