Position Summary
The Strategic Account Manager (SAM) is an individual contributor role and is responsible for working with our large distribution clients to adopt our end-to-end sales automation InsureTech solution. The primary responsibility of this role is to strategically manage and expand relationships with our large distribution clients. You will play a pivotal role in driving adoption of our platform, ensuring clients maximize its benefits through comprehensive training and expanded usage. The VP, Strategic Account Manager will be able to work independently to define strategic approaches within their vertical and execute on the strategy tactically. This role reports to our SVP of Strategic Account Management.

Deliverables and Performance Measures:
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive adoption and usage of our platform among large distribution clients.
- Serve as the primary point of contact and build strong relationships with key stakeholders at client organizations.
- Conduct regular business reviews to assess client satisfaction, usage trends, and opportunities for expansion.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams (Product, Client Delivery, RevOps, etc.) to advocate for client needs and ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Provide expert guidance and support to clients during platform implementation and onboarding processes.
- Deliver tailored training sessions and workshops to ensure clients understand and effectively utilize platform features.
- Monitor industry trends and client feedback to identify opportunities for product enhancement or new feature development.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering strategic insights and recommendations to drive business growth and operational efficiency.
- Generate sustainable revenue, taking full responsibility for quota attainment to achieve and exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas.
- Identify new upsell/cross-sell opportunities with our distribution clients using a variety of methods that ensures a consistently healthy sales pipeline.
- Manage sales pipeline proactively and methodically to keep steady and growing sales volume.
- Obtain a deep understanding of Hexure’s products and processes. Proactively stay informed of product features, capabilities, and product roadmap.
- Evaluate each client’s position in the industry, researching and analyzing to establish sales opportunities.
- Proactively stay up to date on industry trends and work collaboratively to evolve messaging for clients and Hexure.
- Present and demonstrate Company products and services to clients ultimately leading to sales engagements.
- Consistently analyze sales activity and forecast data to determine progress toward stated goals and objectives and re-forecast promptly when changes occur.
- Assist with and follow through with all client RFPs that are submitted to the Company in a timely and thorough manner.
- Actively participate in Industry events, working groups and associations to build networks as well as the Company’s reputation as an industry expert.
- Keep internal systems up to date with notes and required fields completed.

What Will Make You Successful:
- Minimum of 6+ years of experience in account management and/or sales selling complex SaaS solutions in a business-to-business environment, preferably in the InsureTech or FinTech indu
- Knowledge of life insurance and annuities is required.
- Knowledge of banks, broker dealers, IMOs, and other distribution channels is required.
- Minimum of 4+ years of enterprise B2B experience.
- Successful track record of over-achieving against quota.
- Must be able to work independently and proactively reach out to anyone, including other departments, to ask questions that will allow you to be successful in your role.
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce.com or other comparable CRM.
- Experience with the sales qualification methodology, MEDDPICC.
- Knowledge of Mutual Action Plans is preferred, but not required.
- Ability to travel 25% - 50% of the time.

Travel:
Travel as necessary for strategic client meetings, sales presentations, industry events, and client events. Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
